Darla B. Amrein, 50, of Lake Villa, IL. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2012.
She was born in Beaumont, Texas on October 18, 1961, the daughter of Jerry and the late Harry Baker. Darla lived in Lake Villa- Lindenhurst area since 1989, moving there from Buffalo Grove. She had enjoyed a successful 22 year career in sales for the fastener industry that included the Nylok Corporation and Lawrence Screw Co .Much of Darla’s free time was spent attending her children’s sporting events throughout the Midwest. She was the enthusiastic ‘sports mom’.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; her sons, Zach, Ben and Duncan; her mother, Jerry; and her sister and brothers, Kelley, Bradley and Rodney. Many aunts, uncles , nieces and one nephew also survive. Her father , Harry, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 4 – 8 pm and Friday, 9 – 10 am.at RINGA FUNERAL HOME, 122 S. Rte. 83 (Milwaukee Ave) Lake Villa, IL 60046. Funeral services will begin at 10 am on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will accorded after the services and interment of the cremated remains will be private. Your choice of memorials suggested.
