Raymond Johnson
Funeral services for Raymond M. Johnson, 88, will be held Tuesday November 8, 2011 at 10:00 am at RINGA FUNERAL HOME, 122 S. Rte. 83 (Milwaukee Ave. ) Lake Villa, IL, 60046. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm. Ray passed away at his home in Lake Villa on November 3, 2011 after a courageous battle against many ailments. Ray was a WWII veteran and a proud member of CBI Veterans organization. He loved his 1935 Ford - 3 window coupe, Iola camping, traveling, tinkering, woodworking, and especially his family.
Ray is survived by his children, D. Andrew, Darlene, Daniel, Dale, Diane (Joseph) May, Dolores (Jenny), and Dawn (Dan) Erber; his grandchildren Matthew (Melissa), Emily, Adam, Elizabeth, Lauren, Alex, Hayley, Patrick, Logan, and Madilyn; his great grandson David; his brother Charles; and by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Ellen Johnson (nee Boyle); his brothers George and Babe; his sister Elizabeth; his daughter in law Sue Ellen; his niece Susie; and his nephew Bert.
Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Richmond, IL.
