Ron Ludden

LUDDEN

Ronald L. Ludden, 69, of Lindenhurst, IL passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

 

He was born in Fort Madison, Iowa on November 15, 1942, the son of the late Janie and John Ludden.  Ron was a veteran serving in the US Army. He lived in Lindenhurst for the past 21 years, moving there from Grayslake and was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lake Villa. He was member and past  Grand Knight of  the Knights of Columbus –Council 111112. He retired from Abbott after 14 years of service.  Ron was an avid golfer, and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his grandsons.

 

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Colleen. They were married on Nov. 19, 1994;  son, Rob (Andrea) Post of Lake Villa; grandsons, Maddox and Gunnar;  sister,  Janet (Jerry) Abolt of Iowa, and brothers,  John Scott Ludden of Tennessee and Edward Allen (Sharon) Ludden of Kansas.

 

Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at RINGA FUNERL HOME, 122 S. Rte. 83 (Milwaukee Ave.) Lake Villa, IL 60046 from 4 – 8 pm.   Funeral services will begin at 9:30 am Wednesday from the funeral home transferring to  Prince of Peace Catholic Church for a 10 am  Funeral Mass. Cremations rites will be accorded after the service and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to: American Lung Assoc. 55 W.
