COTE
Russell H. Cote, Sr. , 97, of Lake Villa, IL passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012.
He was born in Waukegan, IL, on January 18, 1915, the son of the late Margaret and Henry Cote. Russell lived in Lake Villa for the past 60 years, moving there from Waukegan. He retired in 1976 from U.S. Steel Corp. where he was an executive. He loved golfing, fishing, bowling and CB radios. Russell also enjoyed gardening, automobiles, and playing cards with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughter-in-law, Avon Cote; his grandchildren, Erin (Dick) Parizek, Russell III, Jeffrey, and Patrick (Angela); his great grandchildren, Maddie, Nate, Tyler, Travis and Trevor; and his nephew, Bob Buku;
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn; his children, Donna Rae, Joyce and Russell, Jr. ; and one sister.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 6, from 9 – 10 am at RINGA FUNERAL HOME, 122 S. Rte. 83 (Milwaukee Ave.) Lake Villa, IL.
Funeral services will begin at 10 am, Monday, at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the service at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Libertyville, IL .
