Ana Gamboa, loving wife of Pedro Gamboa Sr. (+), Mother of 10, passed away at the age of 93. Raquel was born to Miguel and Encarnacion Sta. Ana on August 28, 1929, in La Paz, Iloilo City, Philippines. Raquel was a Seamstress, Teacher, Girl Scout Leader, Cancer Survivor, International Traveler, Caretaker, a collector of Thimbles, Postage Stamps, Books, VHS and CD Tapes, Coins, Fans, Handkerchiefs, Keychains, and various Knick Knacks. Raquel’s esteemed love for writing led to her many correspondents, and documented life events. Her talented sewing skills were shared with many in the forms of bridal gowns, prom dresses, Philippine cultural costumes, and theatrical costumes which were designed and made from scratch. Raquel was predeceased by her husband Pedro Gamboa Sr., daughter Helen Gamboa Mijares, sons Miguel Gamboa and Alfonso Gamboa; brothers Aquiles and Dennis, and sisters May and Heidi. Raquel is survived by her children Junina Gamboa Andres, Miguel Gamboa (+), Jose Avito Gamboa, Alfonso Gamboa (+), Helen Gamboa Mijares (+), Aelred Ubaldo Gamboa, Pedro Gamboa Jr., Stephen Gamboa, Christine Sarah Gamboa Jacildo, and Donna Grace Gamboa Lopez; grandchildren Kenneth Gamboa Andres, Christopher Brian Gamboa Andres, Michael Shaun Gamboa Andres, Margeaux Aegel Gamboa Wong, Miki Angeli Gamboa, Michael Jan Gamboa, Aldrich Jehrard Gamboa, Brennard Nicolai Gamboa, Alexandria Minette Gamboa, Aline Ernestine Pamela Gamboa Escarayan, Aimee Evette Gamboa Torbela, Avril Elaine Gamboa Sabio, Mikhail Keith Gamboa Mijares, Marq Alphonse Gamboa Mijares, Aelred Gamboa II, Adriene Nicolai Gamboa, Aethelred Gamboa, Aldrich Gamboa, Aeune Gamboa, Aeriann Gamboa, Therese Louise Gamboa Cunningham, Peter Oswald Gamboa, Charmaine Gamboa, Pauline Angela Gamboa, Stephanie Rachel Gamboa, Stephen Andrew Gamboa, Kristine Aubrey Gamboa Jacildo, and Kristoffer Andre Gamboa Jacildo. Visitation will be held at Ringa Funeral Home on December 22, 2022 for family and close family friends from 10AM to 2PM.
