Edward Sullivan, 62, a resident of Round Lake, IL, Antioch, IL, Hayward, WI, and Bristol, WI, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Ed was born in Chicago on November 16, 1958. In his early years, he was a boy scout and attended St. Paul Lutheran school, Round Lake public schools, graduating from Round Lake Senior High in 1976. He enjoyed his time working at Cedar Lake Park as a young man before joining the Chicago Labor Union #4. Ed later became superintendent for Spray Insulation. He retired from the union and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his three grandsons. Ed loved sports and played baseball and football as a boy and then later played 16”’ softball and flag football. He also loved the Chicago Cubs, Da Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He enjoyed helping coach Kyle's football team and cheering on his grandsons and nieces. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and the North Woods and especially loved riding his Harley. He also had a soft spot for his animals Tillie and his faithful companion Charlie AKA Chuck. He is survived by his son Kyle (Lindsey) Sullivan; grandsons Jax, Erik, and James; mother Lorraine M. (Sullivan) McDermott; sister Cheryle (Glenn) Pollard; brother Todd (Colleen) Sullivan; nieces Nicole, Brooke, Ashley, Alanna, and Shannon; great-nephews Mason, Gabriel, and Aaron; and by many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father Richard 'Dick' Sullivan. Masks will be required to attend funeral services. A memorial visitation will take place 10 am - 1:30 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S Milwaukee Ave., Lake Villa, IL 60046.
