Frank Jaskowiak

Frank Jaskowiak, age 93, of Lake Villa, IL passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at his home. Frank was born June 4, 1928 in Chicago, the son of the late Francis and Pauline Jaskowiak. He spent over 37 years as an electrical design engineer at Commonwealth Edison and was a proud Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. Frank was an avid reader, boater, and do-it-yourselfer who enjoyed doing projects around the house. He was a friend to many, but above all, he was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Grace; sons Joseph Jaskowiak and Jerry (Beth) Jaskowiak; grandchildren Justin (Brooke) Jaskowiak, Brynn (Kurt) Arseneau, Chelsea (Damian Barnes) Jaskowiak, Dane (Emily) Jaskowiak, Eli Jaskowiak, Faith Sampe, JoLynn Havens, Jacqueline (Albert) Gehrke, Courtney (Austin) Gunderson, and Savannah Jaskowiak; great-grandchildren Autumn, Ezra, Amaya, Layla, Braylee, and Ethan; and by his sister Marian (late Anthony) Imirsek. He was preceded in death by his son Frank, great-granddaughter Everly, and by his brother Edward (late Valerie) Jaskowiak. Visitation will be 2 – 6 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave. Lake Villa, IL 60046. Additional visitation will begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the funeral home. Prayers will begin at 9:30 followed by a procession to Prince of Peace Catholic Church for a Mass at 10 a.m. Cremation will take place privately after Mass.
