Fred Mayberry, 82, of Gurnee, IL passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019. He was born in Kinmundy, IL on May 9, 1936, the son of the late Theodore and Nellie Mayberry. He is survived by his wife of 38 years Susan Rockwell; children Deborah Smith, Matthew (Cori) Rockwell, and Steve Dion; and grandchildren Michael Walker, Breanna Mayberry, Kali Zurek, Mya Mayberry, Nicholas Hein, Madisen Rockwell, and Elizabeth Rockwell. He was preceded in death by his sons Freddie Mayberry Jr. and Marty Mayberry and by many brothers and sisters. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave. Lake Villa, IL 60046. Interment at Ascension Cemetery will take place privately.
