Jack H. White, 87, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016. He was born in West Palm Beach, FL on February 12, 1929, the son of the late Walter and Dolly White. He was a proud Marine and served during the Korean conflict. He was an active member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Lindenhurst, IL and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane; children Jody White, Sharon Sullivan, Debbie Zavala, and Beth (Corey) Meiggs; grandchildren Thomas Smejkal, Joshua Smejkal, Kelly (Kobby) Akuffo, April (Keith) Brabender, Eddie (Tina) Sullivan, Michael Zavala, Kara (Micah) Johnson, Samantha Meiggs, and Danielle Meiggs; and by his great grandchildren Kaleb, Kristian, Asher, Nolan, Kennedy, Jayden, and Reese. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave. Lake Villa, IL 60046 and last until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
