Laverne Kriz, 84, of Ingleside, IL passed away at Advocate Condell Medical Center on Sunday, December 15, 2013. She was born on March 10, 1929 in Cicero, IL, the daughter of the late James and Mae Sedivy. Laverne was a resident of Ingleside since 1954. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her hobby as a painter. She is survived by her children Randall (Arleen) Kriz of Ingleside, Scott Kriz, of California, and Bruce Kriz of Ingleside; grandchildren Ryan, Kyle, Erin, Tyler, and Skyler; and great-grandchildren Grace, Caiden, Noah, and Presley. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald in 2003 and by her brother Phillip. A memorial visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave. (Rte 83) Lake Villa, IL 60046. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial of the cremated remains will take place privately at a later date.
