Mary Lou E. Dvorak, 84, of Lake Villa, IL passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015. Mary Lou was born in Spring Grove, IL on October 1, 1930, the daughter of the late Edwin and Vera Freund. She was raised in Crystal Lake, IL and attended St. Thomas Grade School and Crystal Lake High school. She married Richard Dvorak on May 1, 1954 and soon after moved to the Lake Villa area where she lived ever since. She was a longtime and active member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and working in the rectory for many years. Mary Lou enjoyed dancing and had a youthful spirit and zest for life. She was a woman of strong faith and her greatest joy was her family. She will be remembered as a mother to all. She is survived by her children Michael (Deborah), Rick, John (Nancy), Maribeth (Bob) Huebner, Tom (Sheila), Anne, Peggy (Bill) Gigliotti, and Gretchen (Tim) Sampson; siblings Allen (Anita) Freund, Eunie (Mert) Lockwood, and Sr. Karen Freund; 21 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard and by her brother Ken (Kay) Freund. Visitation will be from 4 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave (Rte 83) Lake Villa, IL 60046. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. with a procession to Prince of Peace Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass. Burial will follow at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Cemetery in Fox River Grove.
