    Muriel Kaminski

    August 13, 1922 - June 29, 2017

    Muriel Mae Kaminski of Lindenhurst, Illinois, age 94 was called home and made whole again on Thursday, June 29, 2017. She was born August 13, 1922 in McGregor, Iowa, to the late Harry Davies & Ruth Evans. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois and was the first graduate to receive a High School Diploma at Taft High School. She was married to Peter Kaminski and led a full life committed to family, camping, world traveling and researching her genealogy dating back to the 1800’s. She retired from Baxter Medical in 1988 and was a member of the Baxter Alumni and Milburn Congregational Church. She is survived by her children Claudia Wendlandt (Julian) of Kennesaw, Georgia, Brett Kaminski (Debbie) of Grayslake, Illinois, and Bruce Kaminski of Dodgeville Wisconsin. Her Grandchildren Michelle Baker (Neil) of Dallas, Georgia, Stephanie Kaminski of Grayslake, Illinois, and Scott Kaminski of Grayslake, Illinois. Her Great Grandchildren Savana and Pierre Brunet of Dallas, Georgia, Jeremy Adams of Grayslake, Illinois, Peyton Camphouse of Grayslake, Illinois, and Connor Kaminski of Grayslake, Illinois. Her Sisters Rosalie Zwiefel of Dodgeville, Wisconsin, and Lou Ann Johnson of Rockford, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her sister Lillibelle Davies, her father Harry Davies, her mother Ruth Evans, and her husband Peter Kaminski. “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4 Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Ringa Funeral Home, 122 S. Milwaukee Ave. Lake Villa, IL 60046. Additional visitation will be on Saturday, July 8, 2017 beginning at 10 a.m. A funeral service will begin Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial at Irving Park Cemetery will take place privately after the funeral service. Flowers or donations to Lake County Farm Heritage will be greatly appreciated.
